It Really is Okay to Love Sad Songs

Let's face the facts, every now and then many of us like to sit down and have a really good feel sorry for me cry. It is okay to sometimes feel sad. It is perfectly normal behavior. 

We are human and we enjoy our emotions like a monkey enjoys chowing down on a good banana (Yeah, that doesn't make much sense and I can't believe I just said it either.) Happy or sad we do kind of like to enjoy a variety of our emotions though and that little fact is all just part of us being human. 

When I hear an old favorite heartbreak song it sends a feeling of both warmth and sadness through me. I love the emotion this music brings me. Laughter yoga is an exercise therapy where the health benefits of laughter are intertwined with the healing powers of yoga deep breathing exercises.

Using the concept that laughter is physical in nature and the fact that the body is not able to recognize a difference between real or simulated laughter, yoga laughter programs attempt to utilize the combined health benefits of these two well acknowledged therapies.
